Quick Start Guide

In The Box:

• 1x Quick Start Guide
• 1x WFx device (Serial or Relay)
• 1x USB power cord
• 1x 5v 1a USB AC Adapter
• 1x DB9 Gender Changer (Serial devices only)

Initial Setup
The device will automatically create a wireless access point on initial boot
-OR-
when no WIFI settings have been configured
-OR-
After a 5 minute timeout when the configured WIFI network is unavailable at boot time.

The newley created access point will be named: ST1-[DEVICE TYPE]-[MAC ADDRESS OF THE DEVICE]
The DEVICE TYPE is defined as:

• WFS1 for serial devices
• WFR1 for relay devices

Connect to the access point using your computer or mobile device.
Once connected to the access point open a browser and access the setup page at:
http://192.168.4.1

Durring initial setup no login is required, However if it does show use the following information.

Username: admin
Password: admin (default during AP setup connections)

*We strongly recommend changing the password during setup.
*The username is NOT editable, but is planned to be changed to editable in a future firmware release.

The status light will flash rapididly when in setup mode (see: [Flash Codes and Troubleshooting] for full details on device flash codes)
